Thorsby First Baptist Church would like to recognize your graduating high school or college senior. We are so excited and can’t wait to celebrate with you on your senior’s accomplishments. Here are some important dates that we would like for you to be made aware of for our Graduation Celebration.
May 5th - Senior Commissioning Service – We will take some time in our 11am service to recognize and pray over your student. It is our belief that this is a great accomplishment for the entire family and one that needs to be celebrated so we will ask you to stand as a family for a brief moment as we recognize your senior! We hope that you will make plans to be with us on this special morning! Please remember that your senior is to wear their cap and gown that morning. They can get ready at the church right after Sunday School and right before the service starts.
TBA - Senior Night at Whiteflag Student Ministry - This is an opportunity for our seniors to take control of MidWeek and reflect on their time in the student ministry. Senior families are HIGHLY encouraged to be a part of this night! We are hoping to be able to host this night in our new addition in the youth building. As soon as we know when this date is we will send the information to the families who sign up.
*Important Info Needed* - I would like a little information about your student so we can share that with the church about their future plans on May 5th. Below is a link where you can fill out a google form. Also I need 4 pictures in order to create a slideshow. Pictures that I need are a baby, child, senior casual, and cap and gown. You can email these to justin@thorsbyfbc.org by April 28th!
