Nehemiah's Prayer

When facing devastating news, how did Nehemiah respond - He Prayed!

H.B. Charles, “Sincere prayer recognizes that there is much that can be done after you pray, but there is not much that you can do to help the situation until you pray. Sincere prayer recognizes that when we work, we work. But when we pray, God works. Sincere prayer recognizes that it happens after prayer."

Neh. 1:4 - So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

Fervently - Neh. 1:4
Continually – Neh. 1:4
Reverently – Neh. 1:5
Repentantly – Neh. 1:6-7
Hopefully – Neh. 1:8-10
Humbly – Neh. 1:11

We serve an Almighty, All-Powerful, Prayer hearting, Prayer Answering God!
