Milestones are those memorable moments and celebrations that serve like mile-markers on a child’s spiritual journey.

They’re not just church events. They’re moments led by parents — and they become powerful tools to disciple your kids toward faith in Jesus.

And here’s the good news: You can do this, and we’re here to help you.

1. Family Dedication

Our Family Dedication Service is an opportunity for our Kids Ministry to partner with parents as they raise their children to know and love Jesus.

2. Kindergarten Bibles

Our Kindergarten Bible Milestone is a chance for parents to present their children with their first “big kid” Bible as they enter into Elementary School.

3. New Believers Class

Our Kids New Believers Class walks parents and kids through what it means to be a Christian, the role of the church, and how to share our faith! Upon completion of the class, kids and students can be baptized.

4. How to have “The Talk”

At TFBC we say “You can do it, we can help”. We want to come alongside parents as they navigate conversations of gender and sexuality with their kids.

5. Welcome to Student Ministry

During our 6th Grade Milestone we invite parents and incoming 6th grade students to learn what it will be like as they enter into Student Ministry. This includes getting to know other parents and students that you will be with for the next 7 years.

6.Driving, Dating, and Data

The focus of this event is to help equip parents on some of the key transitions they will be facing and introducing them to parents who have recently navigated how to lead their students through thinking appropriately about these specific topics.

7. Senior Graduation
Dinner

The Senior Milestone is a celebration and commissioning of our seniors as they transition from being teenagers into adult life. This transition is marked for many of them by moving out of the house and going to college or living on their own. Parents are in charge of leading their table experience.
